These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the website at docautospa.com (the "Site") and to the mobile detailing and ceramic coating services provided by Doc Auto Spa LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our services
We provide mobile automotive detailing and ceramic coating at a location you choose, as described in the applicable package or quote. Services may include interior and exterior cleaning, paint correction, polishing, and protective coatings.
Results vary.All work is performed on a best-efforts basis. The outcome depends on the vehicle's prior condition, existing defects, age, prior repairs, environmental exposure, and how the vehicle is cared for afterward. We do not guarantee removal of every scratch, stain, odor, swirl, or contaminant, or any specific level of gloss or longevity beyond a written warranty we expressly provide for a particular service.
2. Quotes and pricing
Prices shown on the Site are starting pricesand may change based on your vehicle's size, condition, and the services you choose. A quote is an estimate, not a binding contract, until we confirm the appointment and scope with you.
3. Scheduling, access, and cancellation
You agree to provide a safe, legal, and accessible place to perform the work, with enough room around the vehicle. We bring our own water, power, and all the equipment we need. Please give us at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
4. Your responsibilities and pre-existing conditions
Before service, you agree to:
- Tell us about known issues with the vehicle, such as failing clear coat, repaint or bodywork areas, rust, oxidation, leaks, loose or brittle trim, aftermarket parts, wraps, tint, or electrical problems; and
- Remove all valuables and personal items. We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage, wear, or defects, or for such conditions becoming more visible after cleaning or correction;
- Damage caused by loose, brittle, broken, or improperly installed parts, trim, badges, wraps, tint, or aftermarket modifications;
- Pre-existing electrical faults, battery issues, or malfunctioning sensors, electronics, or accessories revealed or affected during service; and
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under California law.
6. Ceramic coatings and warranties
Any warranty on a ceramic coating or other service applies only if we provide it to you in writing, and only under the conditions stated in that written warranty and in the coating manufacturer's published warranty for the specific product (such as Ceramic Pro, SB3, or IGL), including any required maintenance and approved products. Coating longevity claims from manufacturers describe potential durability under proper care and are not a guarantee of a specific result on your vehicle.
7. Payment
Payment is due at the time of service unless we arrange otherwise. We accept payment through Square (card and related methods).
8. Site content
The content on the Site, including text, photos of our work, and the Doc Auto Spa name and logo, belongs to us and may not be copied or used without permission. Reviews and photos shown are from real customers and real jobs.
9. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you agree to that venue.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a new version here with a new effective date.
